PADI E.F.R. Instructor

Teach CPR and first aid to others so they can be prepared for an emergency.
You must become a PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) Instructor before applying for your PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certification.

Who should take this course?

Have completed an EFR Primary and Secondary Care course (or qualifying training) within the past 24 months.
Be at least 18 years old

What will you learn?

  • Your role as an EFR Instructor is to be a coach that creates a positive learning environment. Along with learning how to structure and organize EFR courses, you practice:
  • Presenting course content.
  • Encouraging self-discovery in students.
  • Evaluating student understanding and skill mastery during hands-on skills practice.
  • Managing effective scenario-based learning experiences.
