Who should take this course?
PADI Scuba Diver Course is a great start for your PADI Open Water course. If you are short on time but really want to get your Scuba Diving license, PADI Scuba Diver might be just right for you. This course is an intermediate step for earning an Open Water Diver certification, as your ultimate goal.
As a PADI Scuba Diver you will be qualifed to:
-Dive under direct supervision of a PADI Professional to a maximum depth of 12 metres/40 feet.
Your progression is saved for your Open Water Diver course which will make it quicker and cheaper to do.
To sign up for PADI Scuba Diver course (or Junior SD), you must be 10 years or older. You need basic swimming skills and to be in good physical health. No prior diving experience is required.
What will you learn?
The PADI Scuba Diver course is divided in three main sections:
1. Knowledge Development to understand basic principles of Scuba Diving (by PADI eLearning program assigned directly after the purchase) - just the first three out of five sections of the PADI Open Water Diver course.
2. Pool sessions to practice basic scuba skills - As well just three out of five pool sections of the PADI Open Water Diver course
3. Open Water Dives to use your skills in the Ocean and explore our volcanic reef in Puerto de Mogan - Two our of four dives of the PADI Open Water Diver Course
